The Virginia Corporation Commission will be transitioning to a new website and online filing system on December 9, 2019.  After the launch of the new system, business-specific PINs will be required to make changes for that business. A PIN for each active business entity will be mailed to the registered office address on record at the Virginia Corporation Commission.

Please take note of the following important dates:
• November 22 – December 16: All expedited services (including precleared filings) will be suspended.
• November 25: Virginia will stop accepting all ELECTRONIC assessment payments, except for XML UCC filings and new Virginia domestic business registrations.
• December 4 – 6: Website will be completely unavailable. Good Standing Certificates, Certificates of Fact, Name Availability and other online services will be completely unavailable.
• December 9: New System Go-Live Date.
During the above times, Virginia filings will be batched by date of receipt, and will be processed on a first-in, first-out basis after the new system is live.
